Equipping Classes

We are excited to offer Equipping Classes at the church on Wednesday evenings, with childcare (babies – elementary age). Our classes will be constantly cycling through with different topics and focuses. We believe that it is very important for a disciple of Jesus to grow in wisdom and revelation (Luke 2:52). Our Wednesday evening equipping classes will offer you the chance to meet people, connect with others, and dive into impactful content. We will offer classes on parenting, Bible study, important topics, marriage, Biblical stewardship, worship, and more. For the current and upcoming classes, see the list and descriptions below.

James, Jesus’ own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this DVD study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. All participants will need to purchase the workbook that corresponds with this James study.

Three million dollars flows through the hands of the average American in their lifetime. What if we actually knew how to steward it, instead of just carelessly watching it slip through our bank accounts? Our families would thrive and the kingdom would advance. The Bible promises us that. So then what are we waiting for?

In this class, we will learn about topics such as: breaking the poverty spirit, understanding the power and purpose of wealth, wielding the weapon of generosity, depleting debt and building a storehouse, developing a vision for your family, and creating and living out a financial plan that is in line with your vision.

If you are married, it is strongly encouraged that you and your spouse both attend. This class will be hands on and require homework, so please plan to leave time in your schedule during this season to apply what you are learning.
