Prayer Servant Training is designed to equip you in both the knowledge of scripture and the ways of Jesus, so that you too can see a demonstration of Father’s works. The four required classes include both theology and methodology. The disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray. They saw in him a life of abundance that came from private times of communication with Father and public demonstrations of grace. Prayer is core to the life of a disciple.

The Word of God directs the Church on two perpetual ordinances of the Lord Jesus Christ. The first, baptism, is the outward sign of what God has already done in the individual’s life, and is a testimony to all that the person belongs now to Jesus. Baptism allows believers to identify with Jesus and is performed in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
If you have made a profession of faith and never been baptized; we would love to help you take that next step.
Registration ends on Wednesday, April 26.

We are excited for our annual middle school retreat – SPOOVEMENT – April 7-9.
A Spoovement is what happens when Spring is here and there’s a movement hitting the Earth (Spring + Movement = Spoovement).
If we could pick one word to describe this weekend (other than Spoovement), it would be: AMAZING. It is a time designed to grow closer in community, to have a blast, and encounter the Word and presence of God. There will be worship, teaching, games, food, and probably little sleep! We will be serving at River Oaks Retreat Center in Possum Kingdom on Saturday! We can’t wait to see you there, sign up NOW!
One of the greatest joys in life is welcoming a child into a family whether it is through the birth of a child or through adoption. We as a body of believers also want to rejoice with each family and assure them of our support, love, and encouragement as their child develops and grows. We view every child as a gift from God and want to honor that life by publicly presenting them to our church congregation in a time of celebration and rejoicing. We know that Jesus honored children and the disciples brought children to him for him to lay his hands on and bless them. He said in Matthew 19:13-14, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”

A core need for men is identity. In the new testament, Paul uses the phrase In Christ one hundred and eighty nine times. The central theme of Paul’s message was identity in Christ. Come join the Bridgeway Men’s Ministry in March at beautiful St. Simon’s Island, Epworth by the Sea, as we take a deeper look into what our identity in Christ means. Our theme this year is SOAR, based off of Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

We do have several men who are very interested in attending but don’t have the finances to attend and we’d love for money to not be the reason someone can’t attend. If you can help out at all with our scholarship fund you can GIVE HERE. It’s as easy as selecting “Men’s Ministry” with our Online Giving and it would mean a lot to some of our Bridgeway Men.
